Sounita has practised as a family lawyer for the past 16 years and was Special Counsel to a specialist boutique family law firm. She has extensive experience in litigation and complex family law matters. She has practised in all areas of family law and divorce proceedings including complex property and parenting matters, spousal maintenance, child support, financial agreements and international family law matters. Sounita has also worked in the community legal sector helping diverse, vulnerable and disadvantaged communities have access to justice further broadening her experience and understanding of people from many different backgrounds. Sounita is committed to supporting and advancing women in the legal profession.
